On April 12, 1945, he automatically became U.S. president after the death of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Elected president of the USA in 1948, for the period 1949-1953. This item has a great b/w shot, professionally double matted with a signed stamp that has been affixed to a 3x5 card. The overall size is 12x16 and it is ready to frame.
