Actress who starred in the classic film, 'Gone With The Wind'. This item is a vintage signed typed letter dated July 4, 1944. The contents read as follows: 'Dear Eddy Polodna: I am going into the hospital this afternoon for observation, since I have not been feeling well lately, but before I leave I want to answer your extremely pleasant letter. It seems unlikely that I shall be making another picture for a time, since I want to continue my hospital tours as soon as I am feeling better. Again my thanks for writing, and all good wishes, (signed Olivia de Havilland).' There is some very minor age wear and a fold from the original mailing.
