(1822–1885) American soldier and politician who was the 18th President of the United States from 1869–1877. He achieved international fame as the leading Union general in the American Civil War. This item is an UNSIGNED original steel-engraving portrait of Grant in uniform by A.H. Riche circa 1860s. The engraving is housed in a vintage oval album sleeve. The overall size is 7x9.5.
