This item is an original World War II Japanese Army soldier's flag, measuring 28x33 inches in length. It is constructed of silk and it has many Kanji markings, which are personal farewell & good luck messages in Japanese from family and friends. Such flags were carried into battle. This flag also has the inked name in one corner of the American G.I. who brought it back. It is in very fine condition with no noticeable stains or damage.
