(1857-1935) Famed Paleontologist who found and named many dinosaurs in the early 1900s. A professor of biology and zoology at the Columbia University, he did extensive research in Mongolia and named and described such dinosaurs as Tyrannosaurus (1905), Albertosaurus (1905), Ornitholestes, Oviraptor, Penmtaceratops, Saurornithoids, Proseindodon, Psittacosaurus, Saurornithoides, Struthiomimus and Velociraptor. President of the American Museum History Board of Trustees where he was a leading “Evolutionist.” This item is a A Dark Cut Mounted Fountain Pen Sig. –“With the regards of Henry F. Osborne.” The card measures ~2.5 X 2,5". There is some Trivial toning.
