(1907-1989) Authentic autographed vintage 3x5 colored photos hand signed by Daphne du Maurier, English author and playwright. She is most famous for her novel Rebecca, the film of which won the Best Picture Oscar in 1941. From a prominent British acting family, du Maurier was created a Dame of the British Empire in 1969, a title she never used and kept secret. A first-rate storyteller and mistress of suspense, du Maurier's work remains popular worldwide.
