(1890-1965) Silent Film and vaudeville stage actor, he appeared in his first 'Laurel and Hardy' film with Oliver Hardy in 1927's 'Duck Soup', and then did countless films as a comic duo with Hardy thereafter, establishing a place in Hollywood forever. He received an SAG Lifetime achievement award and a Special Honorary Academy Award for his contributions to the art. This item is a typed letter that he has signed 'Stan'. It is dated May 23, 1962 and comes with a JSA letter of authenticity.
