Elmer Woggon - Signature Pieces Auction Lot #1084

(1898-1978) Woggon's first comic strip 'Skylark' (1929), is reputedly the first aviation strip. It soon disappeared, but in 1936, Woggon launched a new strip, 'The Great Gusto'.
